Dr. Shelton Goode
Dr. Shelton Goode
Dr. Goode is a diversity and inclusion executive with more than 20 years of human resource, business, and university teaching experience. Goode has held executive human resource and diversity positions for companies ranging in size, from $300 million to more than $11 billion.
He has developed and implemented talent management programs, performance management systems, sales incentive plans, labor relations strategies, and large-scale culture change initiatives.
Marilyn Robinson is the president and principal consultant of RHR Management Consulting Inc. In her role, Robinson is responsible for business development and project management. She also oversees client needs fulfillment for the company, focusing on conducting organizational assessments, planning, facilitating multiday career and leadership development workshops, and designing curricula.
As the principal consultant, Robinson facilitates numerous management skills, technology, and diversity and inclusion sessions.
Anita Nahal, Ph.D., CDP
Anita Nahal, Ph.D., CDP
Dr. Nahal is a multidimensional diversity thought-leader and consultant with professional experience spanning countries, continents, and cities. Nahal has worked at various universities—historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and public and private schools—in the USA and in India.
Danielle Gruppo is the chief executive officer and founder of InternAlliance, an award winning human resources consulting firm with expertise in workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) supporting organizational effectiveness; social recruiting platform for diverse student interns.
Gruppo is an accomplished human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience in developing and executing talent management and human capital strategies. She does these for Fortune 250 companies and privately held companies in the energy, healthcare, service, and manufacturing industries.
Julius Pryor III
Julius Pryor III
Julius Pryor III has held executive roles at Johnson & Johnson (J&J), Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE), Russell Athletic, Abbott Laboratories, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Pryor was the vice president of Global Diversity at both J&J and at Coke. Most recently, Julius served as the head of innovation (diversity and inclusion) at biotech leader, Genentech.
Pryor combines a unique vision for the future of D&I. He has a strong grounding in sales and management and has insights into what works across different industries and sectors.
Robelyn McNair has dedicated more than 25 years to serving in senior and executive human resources leadership roles. She has held a senior professional certification in human resources since 2001 and has both practical and strategic experience in all disciplines of the human resources function.
McNair provides advisory and consulting services to CEOs and business leaders of small and midsize, mature, emerging, and start-up businesses to help develop and address people strategies, processes, and procedures.
Mr. Holly is a lifelong human resource professional with a passion for coaching for personal and professional growth and success.
Cathy Light is a successful entrepreneur with experience working with global corporate clients across a wide range of markets and industries. Her passion for building businesses has led her to the launch of Liderança Group, Assessment Leaders, Leadership Balance, Be Well Perform Well, and Business Builders. She is a dynamic speaker with an engaging personality who has a genuine passion for helping business leaders achieve their goals.
Cathy’s style is results-oriented, and tailors programs to meet each client’s unique needs. Open, honest communications are at the heart of all of her engagements. She uses a straightforward approach to help executives set realistic and achievable change management and growth initiatives. She considers herself a true partner in each company’s ultimate success.
Cathy also believes strongly in establishing relationships at all levels within an organization to truly get to core issues and holds a looking-glass up to a company’s leadership. She helps implement visionary, long-lasting changes to create a healthier culture and improve an organization’s overall performance. As a result, she has earned the respect of both clients and colleagues around the world who graciously recommend her services.
Cathy’s corporate career began at Apple Computer, where she directed internal communication and public relations during the exciting time of the Macintosh factory launch. Reporting to two General Managers under Steve Jobs, she regularly attended senior-led staff meetings with and managed special tour assignments for the technology legend. She then transitioned to Fuji Optical Systems Ltd (a subsidiary of Fuji Film), where she worked for a decade. As a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive, Light was instrumental in developing a new division for Fuji that revolutionized the dental industry for years to come. By utilizing Fuji’s leading, high-resolution imaging technology, the first video dental camera shaped like a mouth mirror was developed, an innovation that became a $500M market within five years.
Cathy Light later served as Vice President and General Manager of Sunrise Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded developer and manufacturer of lasers and related products for ophthalmic and dental applications. In 1995, Light was recruited to help the struggling dental division. In less than two years, Cathy and her team, she achieved a 38% growth in sales, streamlined operations, established disciplined budget controls, and reorganized global distribution channels. Light’s leadership turned the division around, setting it on a course of profitability increasing shareholder value, to a liquidity event in less than three years.
In 1998, Cathy Light decided it was time to build on the business expertise and experiences she had gained, and founded her first management advisory company: Business Builders, providing management solutions to executives of early stage to Fortune 500 companies in a broad range of industries, creating effective strategies to position their businesses for growth. The company’s wide range of services includes web-based planning and performance systems, management 360 competency tools, executive coaching, human capital assessments, and an e-commerce training and development site.
Jeffery L. Smith is a dedicated HR executive with a successful track record of improving employee productivity and contributing to employee growth and development. Known for his ability to build highly effective teams and deliver operational excellence, Jeffery has consistently enhanced the strategic performance of several business units within Fortune 50 companies. He partners with influential business leaders to prioritize and meet organization goals.
As a business leader with over 25 years’ experience, Jeffery has been recognized in Sales and HR for delivering breakthrough results at Procter & Gamble, a Fortune 50 company. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise, and was sought to lead in the areas of Diversity & Inclusion, Strategy Development, Recruitment & Selection, Organization Assessment & Design, Employee Relations, and Leadership Development.
Jeffery was Associate Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion where he was instrumental in driving organizational efficiency, developing strategy, and improving public relations. Through his leadership significant funding was secured to support employee resource groups and a multimillion dollar, multi-year partnership was initiated with strategic external partners. Jeffery was able to improve operations by developing a global strategy that streamlined diversity curriculum, improved scorecard delivery, and standardized communication processes. As an HR Business Partner, Jeffery worked with Sr. Leaders and led organization designs that closed budget gaps up to $5 million. He also successfully managed a range of high risk employee relations cases and served as regional recruiter for multiple sales regions.
After his P&G career, he was VP of Operations for Diversity Best Practices Consulting. In this role he led D&I consulting engagements for a range of clients in both business to consumer and business to business markets. He also served as Executive Director of Diversity Best Practices where he worked with Fortune 500 C-Suite leaders to develop diversity and organizational strategies. He was also recognized as a leader in ERG strategy development and infrastructure building. He was also a featured speaker and panelist at DBP’s domestic and global conferences.
Most recently, Jeffery has served as a Senior Consultant on multiple D&I engagements. In this role he has worked with C-Suite leaders to develop strategy, implement change management, and build organizational capability.
Jeffery continues to serve as a keynote speaker, panelist, and subject matter expert at Diversity & Inclusion events at major corporate and professional conferences.
